Mikroe MIKROE-3084 Moisture click
Mikroe MIKROE-3084 Moisture click detects a moisture level of the skin by touching the sensitive surface of the PCB. The MIKROE-3084 is equipped with a printed copper trace sensor, which is sampled by the accurate FDC2112 IC. The FDC2112 is a 12-bit capacitance to digital (FDC) converter that employs innovative noise and EMI resistant capacitance measuring techniques. This sensor allows the board to measure skin moisture by measuring capacitance, which changes depending on skin moisture level (hydration state of the outer epidermis).
