Texas Instruments THVD1520 5V RS-485 Transceivers

Texas Instruments THVD1520 5V robust, half-duplex RS-485 Transceivers are designed for industrial applications. The THVD1520 eliminates the necessity for additional system-level protection components. This feature is provided by the bus pins' immunity to high levels of IEC contact discharge ESD events.

The THVD1520 Transceivers operate from a single 5V supply. Additionally, the THVD1520 offers a wide, common-mode voltage range and low input leakage on bus pins. This feature makes the device ideal for multi-point applications over long cable runs.

The Texas Instruments THVD1520 is available in an industry-standard 8-pin SOIC package for drop-in compatibility and is characterized for ambient temperatures from -40°C to 125°C.
