SparkFun Qwiic GPS-RTK Breakout Board (GPS-15005)

SparkFun Qwiic GPS-RTK Breakout Board (GPS-15005) is a powerful GNSS/GPS breakout board, based on the NEO-M8P-2 Module, designed for the Qwiic Connect ecosystem. The NEO-M8P-2 module is designed to provide highly accurate Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Global Positioning System (GPS). This breakout board can pinpoint the location of any object very accurately with the help of GPS Real Time Kinematics (RTK). The GPS-RTK board features two Qwiic connectors, 25mm horizontal position accuracy with RTK, a rechargeable backup battery, 35mA current, and four communication ports. The rechargeable backup battery decreases the time-to-first-fix and keeps the latest satellite data and module configuration for up to two weeks.

The NEO-M8P-2 module is capable of rover and base station operations and can be connected to the rest of the system using the Qwiic system. This NEO-M8P-2 module offers multiple configuration options, including geofencing, variable update rates, and variable I2C addresses. The Qwiic connector system enables faster prototyping and contains I2C sensors, actuators, cables, and shields.
