The Qorvo QPF4202 FEM optimizes the PA for a 5V supply voltage that minimizes power consumption to enable systems that use digital pre-distortion to accomplish the highest linear output power and leading edge throughput for the RF chain. A coupler with RF output is integrated for DPD feedback training. Options for alternate routing of the feedback are included with low loss.
For power control, a broad range of constant slope voltage logarithmic power detectors are provided for application feedback. The module consists of a state to turn on and off, which could reduce the bill of material or give an option to minimize the current draw.
The QPF4202 integrates a 2.4GHz power amplifier (PA), a bypassable low-noise amplifier (LNA), and a single-pole two-throw switch (SP2T) into a single device.
Applications for the QPF4202 FEM include access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, customer premise equipment, and the Internet of Things.
