ams OSRAM OSTAR Projection Power LEDs

ams OSRAM OSTAR Projection Power LEDs are slim, high-luminance LED modules specifically designed for projection applications. The Projection Power LEDs are based on advanced thin-film and UX:3 chip technologies. These LEDs are available in different configuration levels with two, four, or six chips combined with an Insulated Metal Substrates (IMS) carrier board. The 2mm² semiconductor chips are mounted accordingly and wired as a light source on a board covered with a glass window. The IMS-PCB acts as a heat dissipater, providing a large surface area for efficient thermal contact with the system heat sink.

As monochrome LEDs, the Projection Power LEDs are available in Amber, Converted Green, and Blue. The ams OSRAM OSTAR Projection Power LEDs are housed in a compact 27mm x 16mm package. 

The OSRAM OSTAR Projection Power LE xx PxMQ-AQ is ideal for PICO, consumer, and mainstream projectors. The LE xx PxMQ-AQ features:

•  Etendue match to 0.3x, 0.4x and 0.6x DLP for up to 850lm (4-channel)
•  6.8mm x 7.6mm compact size package for P0MQ and 2.7mm x 15.5mm for P1/P2MQ
•  Support up to 4-channel system design with amber, converted green, blue, and deep blue LEDs
•  Next generation isolated chip technology with super high current density
•  Copper MCPCB-based SMT package
