AMD / Xilinx AMS101 Evaluation Card

AMD / Xilinx AMS101 Evaluation Card is part of the Analog Mixed Signal Evaluation Platform which allows testing of the AMD / Xilinx Analog-to-Digital Converter (XADC) and Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) technology. This daughter card can be paired with any 7 series or Zynq®-7000 SoC baseboards. The AMS Evaluator tool installer, reference, and demo design files are available to validate the XADC’s performance. This includes the internal temperature and supply voltage sensors, signal-to-noise ratio, effective number of bits, linearity, and many other specifications. The AMS101 Evaluation Card includes an onboard 16-bit DAC which provides an analog test source to the XADC. Paired with the AMS reference designs, the DAC can supply a precision sine wave or DC signal.

Features

  • Demonstrates Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) technology
  • AMS101 Evaluation card pairs with free AMS Evaluator tool for analyzing analog data, internal temperature, and voltage measurements, and saving data to a .csv file
  • Pins and BNC “mini grabbers” for applying a single differential external signal to the card’s gold posts
  • Demonstrates AMD / Xilinx Analog-to-Digital Converter (XADC) technology
  • Evaluates XADC 12-bit, 17-channel, 1Msps dual ADCs and AMS technology
  • Onboard 16-bit dual DAC for analog test signals: Reference designs allow sine wave or DC test signals
