Vishay VEMD5510FX01 Ambient Light Sensor

Vishay VEMD5510FX01 Ambient Light Sensor is a PIN photodiode light sensor with a 540nm wavelength of peak sensitivity. This photodiode is designed to detect visible light and is adapted to the human eye's responsivity. The VEMD5510FX01 light sensor features a 7.5mm² radiant sensitive area and ±65° angle of half sensitivity. This photodiode uses a low-profile surface-mount QFN package with wettable flanks for optical solder joint inspection. The VEMD5510FX01 photodiode is AEC-Q101 qualified, lead-free, halogen-free, RoHS-compliant, and comes in 5mm x 4mm x 0.9mm dimensions. This VEMD5510FX01 photodiode is ideally used in automotive and ambient light sensor applications.
