Texas Instruments CC253x USB-Enabled System on Chip (SoC) Solutions
Texas Instruments CC253x USB-Enabled System on Chip (SoC) Solutions for 802.15.4, ZigBee, and RF4CE applications that combine the performance of a leading RF transceiver with an industry-standard enhanced 8051 MCU, in-system programmable Flash memory, 8KB RAM, and other powerful features.TI CC2531 enables USB dongles or USB upgradable network nodes to be built with low total bill-of-material costs. The CC2531 has various operating modes, making it suited for systems where ultra-low power consumption is required. Short transition times between operating modes further ensure low energy consumption.
With its large flash memory of up to 256 KB, TI CC2530 is ideal for ZigBee PRO applications. The 64 KB and up versions of the TI CC2530 support the RemoTI™ stack for ZigBee RF4CE, which is the industry's first ZigBee RF4CE-compliant protocol stack, and larger memory sizes will allow for on-chip, over-the-air-download to support in-system reprogramming.
Texas Instruments CC2533 is an optimized System-on-Chip (SoC) solution for IEEE 802.15.4 based remote-control systems. The TI CC2533 SoC enables single-chip remote controls to be built with a low bill-of-material cost when used as a flexible SoC. This TI device also provides a simple path to adding RF4CE capability to a device or target when used in the wireless network processor configuration of the RemoTI RF4CE stack. The CC2533 combines the excellent performance of a leading RF transceiver with a single-cycle 8051 compliant CPU, up to 96-KB in-system programmable flash memory, up to 6-KB RAM, and many other powerful features.
