Pico Technology Type K Thermocouples

Pico Technology Type K Thermocouples are manufactured to strict industry tolerances stated in IEC 60584-2:1993 / BS EN 60584-1:2013 specifications. These thermocouple sensors are available in a wide portfolio to cover a range of applications. The high-temperature thermocouples are fiberglass insulated and offer an exposed tip with cable lengths from 1m to 5m. The accuracy of this Class 1 Type K is ±1.5°C over a temperature range of -40°C to +1000°C. The high-temperature glass fiber insulation is suitable for running continuously at +750°C while the 0.8mm conductor is suitable for +1000°C.

The ribbon-surface thermocouple probe with an 8mm tip features minimal heat loss and fast response, making it ideal for metal surfaces. The accuracy of this Class 1 Type K device is ±1.5°C over a temperature range of -40°C to +1000°C.

The PTFE-insulated exposed junction thermocouples feature a 0.2mm twisted pair conductor with cable lengths from 1m to 10m, while the fiberglass-insulated version has a 0.3mm twisted pair conductor with cable lengths from 1m to 5m.

Additional variants of Pico Technology Type K Thermocouples include a probe with a 4.5mm tip designed for measuring ambient air temperature and a probe with a 3.3mm tip with a sharp point designed for insertion into soft materials.
