Newhaven Display 2.1" Round In-Plane Switching (IPS) TFT Displays are engineered to be the perfect fit for various industries. With a 480px x 480px resolution, these round IPS TFT displays deliver sharp, consistent graphics with full viewing angles and high pixel density. These displays feature optional Capacitive Touch and a user-selectable RGB and MIPI DSI® interface, which is rapidly becoming an industry-leading go-to high-speed interface.
The Newhaven Display 2.1” round IPS TFTs have flexible printed circuit (FPC) electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. By default, the MIPI interface inherently generates less EMI; however, with the added EMI shielding, this display is less susceptible to EMI from other sources and prevents self-generated EMI from the display.
The NHD-2.1-480480AF-ASXP features a pixel density of 229ppi, is sunlight-readable with a typical brightness of 1,000 nits, and is anti-glare. This display provides a versatile and visually aesthetically pleasing option that differs from the standard rectangular form.
The NHD-2.1-480480AF-ASXP-CTP delivers an optically bonded capacitive touchscreen that enables smooth five-point multitouch interaction, allowing users to tap, swipe, and draw directly on the screen. High pixel density (323 PPI) and a sunlight-readable 850cd/m2 backlight keep the display legible indoors and out; an extended cover glass allows for flush mounting, and 3M tape with a 360° seal simplifies installation into a design. Like the display's non-touch counterpart, the device offers a user-selectable interface (18-bit Parallel RGB or 1-lane MIPI DSI), with touch handled over I2C through a built-in FT3427 touch controller.
