Mikroe MIKROE-3015 Opto 2 Click

Mikroe MIKROE-3015 Opto 2 Click is an optical isolator that provides optical galvanic isolation of sensitive lines. This click uses optoisolation elements that require a very low input current to 1.3mA. Mikroe MIKROE-3015 Opto 2 Click works with signals up to 20MHz as it uses fast 20Mbps low-power optocouplers. This click provides galvanic isolation of the MCU pins and allows driving by external components while protecting it from surges up to 5KV. Mikroe MIKROE-3015 Opto 2 click can be used in applications where the input side is at risk of high voltage surges in a noisy environment.

The Opto 2 click uses four TLP2770 20Mbps low-power optocouplers from Toshiba. These fast optocouplers with output stages shielded against EMI, work at higher speeds and provide common-mode transient immunity of ±20kV/μs.
