Microchip Technology Explorer 16/32 Development Board

Microchip Explorer 16/32 Development Board is a modular development system for Microchip's 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers. The board supports devices from the PIC24F, dsPIC33, and PIC32 families and features a variety of processor Plug-In Modules (PIMs).

The board includes 2 mikroBUS connectors and a horizontal PICtail™ Plus daughter card connector for expansion boards including USB, CAN, Ethernet, wireless, and graphics. This board includes an integrated programmer and debugger to simplify development.

The Explorer 16/32 Development Board is perfect for prototype applications using several function expansion capabilities. The board has wide ecosystem support and can be a starting point for all embedded projects. Use it to develop a rapid proof of concept before migrating to an actual design.

The board is backward compatible with the classic Explorer 16 Development Board. Use existing codes, libraries, prototypes, PIMs, and all the PICtail Plus daughter cards. Reuse the PICtail Plus daughter cards interfaced via the vertical PICtail Plus connector by using an additional PICtail Plus Expansion Board.
