Tantalum Chip Engineering Kits

Tantalum Chip Engineering Kits are designed to provide active solutions to the passive component requirements characterized by professional OEM engineering design, prototyping, university lab research, and hobbyist users. These kits contain 10 to 20 pieces of each part number in a strip of carrier tape labeled with the KEMET part number, as well as a KEMET catalog that outlines drawings, dimensions, marking format, recommended mounting pad dimensions, and ordering information.

Supercapacitor Kits

Supercapacitor Kits contain 5 to 10 units of each model of series FC, FG, FM, FT, and FY. Each kit gives designers and engineers flexibility and versatility for a wide variety of applications such as high energy storage. KEMET Supercapacitors consist of four basic form factors: surface mount, molded leaded, can style, and radial through-hole.

Metallized Impregnated Paper Capacitor Kits

Metallized Impregnated Paper Capacitor Kits are constructed of multilayer metallized paper encapsulated and impregnated in self-extinguishing material, meeting the requirements of UL 94V–0 flammability ratings. Typical applications include worldwide use in contact protection, contact interference suppression, and transient suppression. Each kit contains 10 each of the capacitors from KEMET's P278, P295, P409, and P410 series.

F862 Harsh Environment Kits

F862 Metallized Polypropylene Film for Harsh Environment Kit is designed to provide active solutions to passive component requirements characterized by professional OEM engineering design, prototyping, university lab research, and hobbyist users. The F682 series features high capacitance and dissipation factor stability even in severe ambient conditions such as high temperature and relative humidity. This is achieved via a sealing epoxy compound, polypropylene film variant, and metallization techniques that greatly improve the life of the capacitor. The metallized film polypropylene dielectric provides excellent self-healing capabilities.

R41 & R46 Film Capacitor Kits

R41 & R46 Film Capacitor Kit includes metallized polypropylene film capacitors that have self-healing properties. The R41 and R46 series are both used as interference suppressors for across-the-line applications. They are suitable for use where a failure of the capacitor could lead to a danger of electric shock. The sample kit contains 23 different part numbers of 3 each with values ranging from 0.10µF to 0.68µF.

FLM ENG KIT 23 Capacitor Kit

FLM ENG KIT 23 Capacitor Kit includes R60, R66, R82, and RSB automotive-grade, general-purpose metallized polyester film capacitors. The capacitors are constructed of metallized polyester film (wound or stacked technology) with radial leads of tinned wire, which are electrically welded to the contact metal layer on the ends of the capacitor winding. These automotive-grade capacitors meet AEC-Q200 requirements. The kit contains 22 different part numbers of 3 each with values ranging from 0.0010µF to 100.0µF.
