Broadcom HSD9 Surface Mount Photodiodes

Broadcom HSD9 Surface Mount Photodiodes are available in a wide spectral range of sensitivity of 700nm to 1100nm with peak sensitivity at 940nm. These photodiodes support an angle of half sensitivity of ±75 degrees. The HSD9 photodiodes are built with black epoxy that filters off visible light, and this reduces unwanted noise from the visible light range. These photodiodes are compatible with industry-standard automatic machine placement, and infrared (IR) reflow soldering. Typical applications include office automation, home appliances, light curtains, and smoke detectors.
