Bourns 1202 Hardwired AC Hybrid Surge Protection Devices

Bourns 1202 Hardwired AC Hybrid Type 1 Surge Protection Devices (SPDs) are designed for AC infrastructure applications in both indoor and outdoor environments. The hybrid 1202-S variant features fast-responding metal oxide varistor (MOV) technology with low-leakage gas discharge tube (GDT) technology, resulting in reliable and long-term performance. The 1202-P devices feature built-in thermal protection designed to safely open in the event of overheating from abnormal overvoltage or temporary overvoltage (TOV) conditions. This process interrupts abnormal current within rated limits. Both types of these Bourns SPDs are offered in compact form factors with LED indicators.
