ams OSRAM SFH40x0 FIREFLY® Infrared Emitters

ams OSRAM SFH40x0 FIREFLY® Infrared Emitters are low-profile LEDs that emit light on the side instead of on the top. This feature allows a more even light dispersal across a panel or diffuser for backlighting needs. The high-power illumination LEDs are ideal for eye tracking, gesture recognition, or touch screens in which capacitive and resistive touch are not ideal. SFH4030 and SFH4060 infrared emitters are available in 850nm and 940nm wavelengths, allowing most IR receivers to work with these devices. The devices come in a 1.0mm x 0.55mm x 0.325mm black epoxy package.
