Amphenol SGX Sensortech TRDU Battery Failure Detection Sensors
Amphenol SGX Sensortech TRDU Battery Failure Detection Sensors feature a fast <1s response time, low power consumption, and IP6K7 watertight housing. The series is designed for placement in battery enclosures to detect dangerous gases. These sensor solutions enable a battery management system (BMS) to monitor the safe operation of the battery and send an earlier signal during a thermal runaway warning, giving passengers time to safely exit the vehicle. Amphenol SGX Sensortech TRDU Battery Failure Detection Sensors are available in three variants: the SGX-BLD1 detects hydrogen gas (H2), the SGX-BLD2 detects H2 and carbon monoxide (CO), and the TRDU5 detects H2, CO, ammonia (NH3), pressure, temperature, and humidity levels. These sensors are ideal for industrial and automotive applications.
