3M Y2500 Series Four-Wall Headers
3M Y2500 Series Four-Wall Headers are 0.100" x 0.100" wire-to-board connectors with a low-profile design that allows space savings with gold flash plating. These connectors are designed for wire-to-board applications with low mating and less demanding environmental conditions. The four-wall headers include a center slot polarization that helps to prevent mis-insertions and minimize insertion time. The four-wall headers consist of a high-temperature insulator that allows the header to be used for no lead soldering operations. These headers feature an optional retainer clip that locks sockets in place for reliable performance in vibration-prone environments.
The Y2500 series four-wall headers are available in various mounting styles. The board mounting options include right angle and straight surface mount. The through-hole version is ideal for reflow soldering using paste-in-hole techniques.
