Murata Type 1MW BLUETOOTH®+Wi-Fi® Module

Murata Type 1MW BLUETOOTH®+Wi-Fi® Module is a high-performance module based on the Infineon CYW43455 chipset. This module supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with a 433Mbps PHY data rate and BLUETOOTH 4.2 BR/EDR/LE with a 3Mbps PHY data rate. The Type 1MW module communicates using the AP and STA dual-mode network topology. The CYW43455 chipset implements hardware mechanisms and algorithms that ensure optimized WLAN and BLUETOOTH collaboration for maximum performance. The WLAN section of this chipset supports the SDIO v3.0 DDR50 interface, while the BLUETOOTH section supports a high-speed 4-wire UART interface and PCM for audio data. The module supports MCS0-MSC9 (up to 256QAM) in 20MHz, 40MHz, and 80MHz channels for data rates up to 433Mbps as per IEEE 802.11ac. Murata Type 1MW module is ideal for industrial IoT, smart homes, sensor networks, and gateway applications.

The Type 1MW module functions in direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS), complimentary code keying (CCK), and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) modulations. This module uses Linux driver/firmware for NXP i.MX platform and RTOS for Infineon Wireless Internet Connectivity for Embedded Devices (WICED). The Type 1MW features a software development kit (SDK) to create network-connected applications for low-resource microcontrollers. This module is ETSI and FCC/IC certified.
