Infineon Technologies CYUSB301x EZ-USB™ SX3 Controllers are configurable SuperSpeed peripheral controllers delivering integrated and flexible features. The CYUSB301x SX3 features a fully configurable, parallel interface (General Configurable Interface) that can connect to any ASIC, ISP, image sensor, or FPGA that supports Slave FIFO or Video interfaces.

The Infineon CYUSB301x EZ-USB SX3 Controllers integrate the USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 physical layers (PHYs) and a 32-bit ARM926EJ-S microprocessor for powerful data processing and building custom applications. The architecture implements a 375MBps data transfer from the General Configurable Interface to the USB interface.

    • Core operation at 1.2V
    • SPI operation at 1.8V to 3.3V
    • I2C operation at 1.2V to 3.3V
  • 121-ball, 10mm x 10mm, 0.8mm pitch Pb-free ball grid array (BGA)
  • EZ-USB SX3 configuration utility for configuration of SX3
    • Works on Windows, macOS, Linux
    • Example configurations for the image sensor, HDMI receiver, and data applications
    • Supports programming of SX3 and configures the FPGA
    • Supports merging of FPGA configuration with SX3 configuration and storing in a single SPI flash
