FTDI Chip UMFT233HPEV-SD Sink Module Board

FTDI Chip UMFT233HPEV-SD Sink Module Board is a high-speed USB Type-C™ to Multipurpose UART/JTAG/SPI/I2C serial interface module with two Type-C USB PD ports. The UMFT233HPEV-SD does not support source power capability like the UMFT233HPEV EVB provides.

The UMFT233HPEV-SD 71mm by 37mm 4-layered printed circuit board incorporates a pair of Type-C power delivery ports that serves only as a sink port (receiving power). The PD Port1 is intended for USB data communication with the PC host. In contrast, the PD Port2 can support the 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, and 20V power delivery object (PDO) profiles - as defined in revision 3.0 of the USB Power Delivery specification. These profiles may be configured via an external EEPROM memory, with seven segments LED displaying the PDO profile to be used.
