The extremely low leakage current at high temperatures, careful design of chip terminations, and construction with high-quality materials make the Vishay Semiconductors FRED Pt Ultrafast Recovery Rectifiers the ideal choice for automotive applications as well.

FRED Pt® Gen 5 Hyperfast Rectifiers

Vishay Semiconductors FRED Pt® Gen 5 Hyperfast Rectifiers are optimized for high-switching speed even under extreme conditions. These rectifiers feature 1200V reverse voltage, low conduction loss, low switching loss, and high-junction temperature ranging from -55°C to +175°C for enhanced reliability. The Gen-5 hyperfast rectifiers are specifically designed to improve the efficiency of PFC, output rectification stages of EV/HEV battery charging stations, solar inverters, and UPS applications. These rectifiers are perfectly matched to operate with MOSFETs or high-speed IGBTs and are available in TO-220AC and TO-247AD packages.

This 60A Rectifier is specifically designed to improve the efficiency of PFC and output rectification stages of EV and HEV battery charging stations, the booster stage of solar inverters, and UPS applications.
