Power Management Click Boards

Mikroe Power Management Click Boards are used to add power management solutions for various applications. Mikroe Click Boards are based around the mikroBUS™ interface standard and easily add incredible system capabilities. The devices are ideal for any type of power applications, including medical, industrial, and automation.

Click Boards™

MikroElektronika MikroBUS™ Adapter click boards™ are designed to revolutionize the way users add new functionality to development boards. The user can push a click board into the innovative new MikroBUS™ standard socket and use it with zero hardware configuration. Categories of MikroElektronika mikroBUS™ Adapter click boards include Wireless Communication Modules, Wired Communication Modules, Sensor Modules, and Miscellaneous Modules & Accessories.

Current Limit Click

Mikroe Current Limit Click contains a low-voltage, P-channel MOSFET power switch for high-side load switching applications. The Mikroe Current Limit Click board features an Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX890L low-resistance power switch with an adjustable, accurate current limit system and thermal shutdown. The switch's internal current-limiting circuitry protects the input supply against overload. The device's thermal protection limits power dissipation. The maximum current limit is 1.2A, programmed through a MAX5401 digital potentiometer. The quiescent supply current has a low value of 10μA in the active state, while in its off state, the supply current decreases to 0.1μA.
