The portfolio features hybrid GMOV components with engineered MOV-GDT pairings, ChipGuard® MLC automotive ESD protectors with low capacitance and a fast response time, BMS signal transformers with AEC-Q200 compliance, and SMF4L-Q transient voltage suppressor diodes that are AEC-Q101 compliant. Circuit Protection Devices

Hybrid GMOV Components

Bourns® Hybrid GMOV™ Components combine the company’s patented, space-saving gas discharge tube (GDT) with FLAT® technology and their high-quality MOV technology into one innovative hybrid device. These components feature longer life, low leakage, and higher reliability along with improved levels of safety against extended voltage threats compared to MOVs alone. The series reduces the likelihood of degradation and catastrophic failure, which can occur as a result of transient surges or temporary overvoltage conditions exceeding a discrete MOV’s maximum rated value. The GMOV™ series is an easy drop-in replacement and is offered in 14mm and 20mm size standard MOV packages.
