The power line chokes are used in applications that involve the suppression of common-mode interferences, electronic ballasts in lamps, and switch-mode power supplies.

WE-CMB Common Mode Power Line Inductors (Chokes)

Würth Elektronik WE-CMB Common Mode Power Line Inductors (Chokes) feature a compact design that delivers high suppression of asymmetric interferences, even at low-frequency ranges. In addition, these inductors provide broadband screening due to a low capacitance winding technique. Würth Elektronik WE-CMB Common Mode, Power Line Inductors, are ideal for power electronics and suppressing common-mode noises. Parasitics can have a significant effect on the noise attenuation and current rating of a common mode filter. Würth designed the WE-CMB series for minimal parasitic effects over its useful frequency bandwidth so it does what it is designed to do - get rid of the noise.

B82x Power Line Chokes

TDK B82x Power Line Chokes feature a 10A to 30A current range and 1.8µH to 3.4µH inductance rating. These core chokes are available in three varieties: rod cores, AEC-Q200-qualified mushroom cores, and ring core chokes with an iron powder core. The rod core chokes offer a high resistance frequency and high single-layer winding construction. The mushroom cores are AEC-Q200 qualified and are suitable for wave soldering. The ring core chokes with an iron powder core have a baseplate that is flame-retardant per UL 94V-0 ratings. TDK Power Line Chokes are ideal for a variety of EMC choke applications.
