Control and Automation Solutions - PLCs

Analog Devices Inc. PLC Control and Automation Solutions provide the ability to integrate the right features into ICs, enabling PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) designers to reduce system cost, power demands, and overall footprint while providing the accuracy and reliability needed for industrial measurements.

MAX14824 IO-Link® Master Transceiver

Analog Devices MAX14824 IO-Link® Master Transceiver is an IO-Link master interface that integrates an IO-Link physical layer transceiver with an auxiliary digital input and two linear regulators. High port count IO-Link master applications are supported through in-band SPI addressing. The 12MHz SPI interface minimizes host controller access times. In-band addressing and selectable SPI addresses enable cascading up to 16 devices.

Industrial 4.0 Smart Factory Solutions

Analog Devices Industrial 4.0 Smart Factory Solutions is a concept that envisions factories of tomorrow as vastly more integrated, automated, and flexible. Using these solutions, factories can become faster and more efficient in churning out goods desired by the changing marketplace. Factory automation is concerned with the automatic control of process machinery. A process controller monitors and measures operational and environmental variables. The controller then sends actuation commands out to control devices or alarms. The controllers are usually microcontroller-based machines with an architecture optimized to meet the needs of the factory and application.
