SC1230-01UTG TVS Diode

Littelfuse SC1230-01UTG TVS Diode is a unidirectional TVS diode designed to provide protection against Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) and lightning-induced surges. This TVS diode features a low leakage current of 0.02μA (typical) at 30V and a low clamping voltage of 37V. The SC1230-01UTG TVS diode can safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes of ±30kV (contact and air discharge as defined in IEC 61000-4-2) without any performance degradation. In addition, the diode can safely dissipate a 100A of 8/20μs surge event as defined in IEC 61000-4-5, 2nd edition. The SC1230-01UTG diode is ideally used for protection of the VBUS circuit on USB 2.0 by PD 3.1 fast charging.

Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations.
