The FPGA supports Linux and real-time applications. The microchip kit is built around the MPFS095 with 95K logic elements, 1GB DDR4 memory, an SD card slot for Linux booting, and Gigabit Ethernet. The device also has three UART connections, microBUS expansion for click boards, and a 40-pin Raspberry Pi Connector for connecting Raspberry Pi hats - all controllable via I²C and SPI protocols.
