Class-D Power Inductors

Coilcraft Class-D Power Inductors offer a wide selection of dual inductors and toroidal power filter inductors for use in Class-D amplifiers. These amplifiers extend battery life in DC-powered audio applications, such as those in automotive sound systems. The dual inductors and toroidal power filter inductors are designed for low distortion and high sound quality. The Coilcraft dual inductors significantly improve the performance of the class-D output LC filters and are housed in a single shielded package to save critical board space. These inductors are AEC-Q200 grade 1 qualified, RoHS compliant, and REACH compliant.

Power Magnetics

Coilcraft is a global supplier of power magnetics, including power inductors, current sensors, and planar transformers designed for the highest efficiency performance. The wirewound inductors feature a ferrite or powdered iron core and come in a wide range of shapes and sizes. RA7231 Dual Inductors

Coilcraft RA7231 Dual Inductors are designed for 40W into a 2Ω load and are AEC-Q200 grade 1 qualified. These inductors are used in class-D output filters and provide very low magnetic coupling. The RA7231 inductors offer less than a 1% drop in inductance up to 12.3A. Applications include handheld audio devices/portable docking stations, high-end TV soundbars, and automotive stereo audio systems.
