Murata Wi-Fi® Modules and Wi-Fi+BLUETOOTH® Modules allow users to connect to the internet directly, providing flexible wireless technology for IoT products. This wide portfolio of Wi-Fi modules supports IEEE 802.11a, 11b, 11g, and 11ac 2x2 MIMO standard, 2.4GHz and 5GHz band for wireless LAN, and Bluetooth 4.1/4.2/5.0/5.1 BR/EDR/LE communication. The interface for the host processor is SDIO or PCIe for high-throughput applications with radio-only modules and UART with MCU-embedded modules for lower data rate applications. The interface for Murata Bluetooth is UART.

Type 2BZ Wi-Fi® + BLUETOOTH® Module (LBEE5XV2BZ)

Murata Type 2BZ Wi-Fi® + BLUETOOTH® Module (LBEE5XV2BZ) supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2x2 MIMO + Bluetooth 5.2 BR/EDR/LE, up to an 866Mbps PHY data rate on Wi-Fi and 3Mbps PHY data rate on Bluetooth. The Bluetooth section supports high-speed 4-wire UART interface and PCM for audio data, while the WLAN section supports the SDIO v3.0 interface. This small, high-performance module is based on the Infineon CYW54590 combo chipset, which ensures the WLAN and Bluetooth collaboration is optimized for maximum performance. Murata Type 2BZ Wi-Fi + BLUETOOTH Module comes in a surface-mount package with an 11.4mm x 8.9mm footprint and 1.4mm maximum height. This small form factor is ideal for size- and power-sensitive applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT), handheld wireless systems, gateways, and more. The module is also suitable for industrial applications with an operating temperature of up to +85C.
