UCC25800EVM-037 LCC Converter Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments UCC25800EVM-037 LLC Converter Evaluation Module (EVM) is an isolated open-loop LLC transformer driver converter based on the UCC25800. It has a pair of outputs, +18V and -5V. It provides output power up to 2W from 6V to 26V DC input to provide isolated bias power to SiC MOSFET or IGBT gate drivers for traction inverter and industrial inverter applications. The LLC topology allows the transformer to have significant leakage inductance but much smaller primary-to-secondary capacitance, significantly reducing common-mode current injection through the bias transformer. The LLC converter based on Texas Instruments UCC25800 offers a high level of integration, low cost, and high efficiency in a compact form factor.
