Class-D Power Inductors

Coilcraft Class-D Power Inductors offer a wide selection of dual inductors and toroidal power filter inductors for use in Class-D amplifiers. These amplifiers extend battery life in DC-powered audio applications, such as those in automotive sound systems. The dual inductors and toroidal power filter inductors are designed for low distortion and high sound quality. The Coilcraft dual inductors significantly improve the performance of the class-D output LC filters and are housed in a single shielded package to save critical board space. These inductors are AEC-Q200 grade 1 qualified, RoHS compliant, and REACH compliant.

ED0006-AL Power Filter Inductors

Coilcraft ED0006-EL Power Filter Inductors are developed for the Zetex ZXCD1210 high-performance analog input class-D modulator. These toroidal chokes provide up to 500W_rms into 4Ω. The ED0006-AL power inductors are low pass filters for the high-frequency switching PWM signal, enabling recovery of the lower frequency audio signal. These inductors are RoHS compliant and are available in tin-silver over copper terminations.
