The ES9821 uses ESS's patented Hyperstream II® ADC Architecture. This innovative technology allows the converter to achieve a signal-to-noise ratio of +120dB and a total harmonic distortion plus noise of -112dB in 2-channel mode. In addition, it supports a wide range of output formats, including S/PDIF, I²S master/slave, and TDM, and comes with hardware mode for quick and easy configurations.
