bq25887EVM Charger Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments bq25887EVM Charger Evaluation Module (EVM) is a complete charger module for evaluating the bq25887, an I²C controlled, 2s battery NVDC charger in the QFN package. Charging a 2-cell, 8.4V battery from a legacy 5V USB port requires a boost charger. The bq25887 is a highly integrated 2A boosting, 1.5MHz switch-mode battery charge management with cell balancing for 2s Li-ion and Li-polymer battery. The I²C serial interface with charging and cell balancing settings makes the device a truly flexible solution. OTG buck operation enables the input port to supply power from the battery.
