BT840 nRF52840 BLE 5 Modules

Fanstel BT840 nRF52840 BLE 5 Modules are an advanced, highly flexible solution for demanding ultra-low power, ultra-long range, and higher throughput applications for IoT applications. A cryptographic accelerator is embedded for industry-grade security. BT840 is a low cost, small size, short range alternative to the BT840F. Both have identical soldering pad footprints. BT840E is a sister module with an u.FL connector for external antenna. BT840F uses a superior PCB trace antenna which in the BT832F module proved to have the longest range at +4dBm of transmission power at a data rate of 1Mbps.

ANT020 Antenna

Fanstel ANT020 Antenna can be used with Fanstel modules with an u.FL connector. The ANT020 consists of an antenna with an SMA connector and + 2dBi gain. The antenna also consists of an SMA connector to u.FL connector adaptor cable, about 4" or 100mm long and panel mounting hardware at SMA connector side of the adaptor cable. Fanstel's BT840E should be used with the ANT020 external antenna.
