The Monolithic Power Systems (MPS)  EV5099-D-00A Evaluation Board is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP5099 current-limit switches. The MP5099 switches are designed to protect circuitry on the output from transients on the input. These switches also prevent undesired shorts at the input and transients from the output.
