Melexis  MLX90418 Single-Coil Fan Drivers are 1-coil BLDC motor driver ICs that support replacing legacy sensorless 3-phase motors and can be configured for various applications. The Melexis  MLX90418 fan drivers include dedicated features for high-speed server fan applications. With the MLX90418, 1-coil solutions are extended up to 30W in 4 cm and 6 cm server fans. Code-free plug-and-play functionality bypasses the need for the software validation of MCU-based solutions, freeing up essential engineering resources with a view to realising more projects in less time and enabling faster production ramp-up.
