Industrial Automation

Molex Industrial Automation connectors provide a convenient source for meeting passive interconnect and industrial communications requirements for industrial applications. Molex Industrial Automation simplifies design, installation, and maintenance processes.

Vertical Farming

Molex Technology in LED lighting is spurring innovative approaches to farming, allowing crops to be grown without direct sunlight in self-contained, environment-controlled, and monitored buildings, also known as vertical farming. Horticulture-specific wavelength LEDs provide the necessary light but are dependent on the most innovative and reliable interconnect products. Molex is a recognized leader in providing sealed and unsealed interconnect solutions, wire and cable assemblies, and thermal management expertise for a range of lighting segments and offers vertical farmers the needed simplicity, flexibility, and innovation.

Industrial Connectivity Solutions

Molex connectivity and communication solutions for automation are ideal for rugged designs for harsh-duty manufacturing environments. These Molex connectivity solutions serve automotive, food and beverage, material handling, and commercial vehicle applications.

WiFi-Ready MID Chip & Ceramic SMT Antennas

Molex WiFi®-Ready MID Chip and Ceramic SMT Antennas are small, on-ground MID (Molded Interconnect Device) antennas with the power and precision of Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) technology. Measuring as small as 3mm x 3mm x 4mm and mated on one side of the PCB, the antennas enable designers to realize significant PCB real estate savings by leaving the ground layers in the PCB intact while freeing up space on the reverse side for other component assemblies. Featuring an omni-directional radiation pattern, these monopole antennas require simple stripline matching on the PCB without the need for discrete components.

Industrial Solutions

Molex Industrial Solutions feature robust products designed for the harshest environmental conditions to deliver safe and reliable connections. These products also provide protection from contamination, moisture, or vibration. This lineup of industrial solutions from Molex offers high performance and a long product life.

2.4GHz / 5GHz MID Chip Antenna

Molex 146175 series Molded Interconnect Device (MID) Chip Antenna requires no ground-place clearance and features a frequency of 2.4GHz / 5GHz. This Wi-Fi®-ready Molex MID chip antenna enables wireless device makers to achieve cost-effective designs with higher levels of product integration and fewer components. The gold over nickel traces on the Molex 146175 MID antenna act as transducers that convert unguided electromagnetic waves to guided electromagnetic waves and vice versa. The Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) formed circuitry yields high, consistent RF performance. And the MID housing withstands high reflow temperatures during assembly processing.

Connected Home Solutions

Molex Connected Home Solutions help users design intelligent and integrated smart home systems. Smart appliances and thermostats, networked security and lighting, and wireless media devices feature prominently in connected homes. From capacitive switches and LED displays to antennas and USB connectors, an extensive Molex portfolio supports a wide range of modern home applications.

Antenna Solutions

Molex Antenna Solutions include NFC, ISM, LTE Cellular, GNSS/GPS, Multi-Protocol, and Wi-Fi®, BLUETOOTH®, and Zigbee antennas. Antennas transmit radio-frequency signals into free space and are sensitive to several elements of the surrounding environment, which affects transmission distance. Therefore, the user must consider various factors when selecting a suitable antenna. Molex Antennas offer high performance and easy integration for demanding wireless applications spanning the industrial, consumer, medical, and automotive markets.

Safety & Driver Assist Solutions

Molex Safety and Driver Assist Solutions streamline the development of advanced features strategically designed to create a safer driving experience. Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) embedded in intelligent vehicles are virtual copilots. Automotive sensors and cameras enable facial/eye recognition, blind-spot monitoring, and parking assistance. Molex Safety and Driver Assist Solutions are ideal for night vision, distance warnings, airbags, and seat belts.
