Automotive TVS/ESD Diodes

Vishay Semiconductors Automotive TVS/ESD Diodes are AEC-Q101-qualified devices that provide a high surge capability of 400W at 10/1000μs for portable electronics. These modules feature a low 1mm profile, low noise technology, and fast response times. Vishay Semiconductors Automotive TVS/ESD Diodes are ideal for line transient voltage protection in space-constrained electronics, such as laptops, notebooks, tablets, smartphones, and external hard drives.

eSMP® Package Evolution

Vishay Semiconductors Diodes and Rectifiers in the enhanced surface-mount power (eSMP®) package deliver higher current handling and power efficiency with a unique design that promotes better thermal performance and reliability. These space-saving miniature devices feature low profiles and come in asymmetrical and symmetrical flat-type versions. Typical applications include automotive, industrial, and telecommunications.

SMFxxA ESD Protection Diodes

Vishay SMFxxA ESD protection diodes feature a high surge capability of 200W at 10/1000µs, excellent clamping capability from 9.2V to 95V, and Low incremental surge resistance. With the low 1mm profile of their SMF package, "Low-Noise" technology, and fast response times, these diodes are ideal for line transient voltage protection in portable electronics including laptops, notebooks, tablets, and external hard drives. The protection diodes provide ESD capability of ±30kV (air and contact discharge) in accordance with IEC 61000-4-2, support high-temperature soldering to 260°C/10s at their terminals, and meet the MSL Level 1 standard per J-STD-020. The Vishay SMFxxA ESD is now available in lead-free, lead-free AEC-Q101 qualified, halogen-free, and halogen-free AEC-Q101 qualified.

eSMP® SMF ESD/TVS Diodes

Vishay Semiconductors eSMP® SMF ESD/TVS Diodes are surface-mount ESD protection diodes in a low-profile 1mm SMF package that provide high surge capability of 200W at 10/1000µs. These devices deliver fast response times, making them ideal for line transient voltage protection in portable electronics, such as laptops, notebooks, tablets, and external hard drives. The diodes offer working voltages of 5V to 58V, peak pulse current from 2.1A to 21.7A, and clamping capability from 9.2V to 95V. Other features include an ESD capability of ±30kV air and contact discharge according to IEC 61000-4-2 standards. Vishay Semiconductors eSMP SMF ESD/TVS Diodes support high-temperature soldering to 260°C/10s at the terminals and meet the MSL Level 1 standard per J-STD-020.
