20W Power Resistors, RTO 20 Series

The Vishay / Sfernice RTO 20 Series 20W Power Resistors utilize thick film technology and the compact and easy to mount TO-220 package. The RTO20 series features high power dissipation to size ratio, wide resistance range from 0.01Ω to 550kΩ, and negligible inductance.

RTO20 & RTO50 Power Resistors

Vishay / Sfernice RTO20 and RTO50 Power Resistors are thick film medium power resistors with energy ratings for harsh pulses up to 60J/0.1s. These power resistors provide high power for long precharge / discharge up to 150W at 45°C and high dielectric strength for protection up to 3000V_RMS. RTO20 resistors feature a high power dissipation-to-size ratio, a wide resistance range from 0.01Ω to 550kΩ, heat sink mounted, and negligible inductance. The RTO50 series features a high power-to-size ratio, ohmic value adjustment by sand trimming, led or surface mount versions, and non-inductive elements. Vishay / Sfernice RTO20 and RTO50 Power Resistors' applications include AMS, industrial, and automotive uses. The RTO 20W/50W are AEC-Q200 qualified.
