NTAG NFC ICs

NXP Semiconductors NTAG NFC ICs offer both contactless and contact interfaces. In addition to the passive NFC Forum compliant contactless interface, these devices feature an I²C contact interface which can communicate with a microcontroller. An additional externally powered SRAM mapped into the memory allows fast data transfer between the RF and I²C interfaces and vice versa, without the write cycle limitations of the EEPROM memory.

NT3H2x11 NTAG I2C + Connected NFC TAG Solutions

NXP NT3H2x11 NTAG I²C Plus Connected NFC TAG Solutions combine a passive NFC interface with a contact I²C interface. The NT3H2x11 are designed for home automation, consumer applications and are a fast and less expensive solution to add tap-and-go connectivity. NXP's second-generation connected-tag technology is backwards compatible with password protection, memory access configuration and originality signature for protection from cloning.
