Littelfuse 1.5KE Diodes are designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events.  The 1500W axial leaded devices are available in both unidirectional and directional versions with reverse stand-off voltages ranging from 5.8V to 495V.
