Giga-Trim® Capacitors

Johanson Manufacturing / Knowles Giga-Trim® Capacitors are tiny trimmer capacitors with a 500VDC working voltage and an insulation resistance of more than 106MΩ. These capacitors provide a convenient technique for fine RF and microwave circuits by eliminating abrasive trimming, interchange of fixed capacitors, and cut and try adjustment techniques. The Giga-Trim® capacitors can handle excessive tuning, soldering heat, and rough handling. These capacitors feature a patented self-locking constant torque drive mechanism that eliminates the need for external bushing slots offering significant performance improvements. Typical applications include RF amplifiers, impedance matching, and crystal trimming.
