TLI4971 XENSIV™ Magnetic Current Sensors

Infineon Technologies TLI4971 XENSIV™ Magnetic Current Sensors are high-precision current sensors for bi-directional AC and DC measurements. The devices have an analogue interface and two fast overcurrent detection outputs. These support protection of the power circuitry. Galvanic isolation is provided according to the magnetic sensing principle. Infineon's monolithic Hall technology enables accurate and highly linear measurement of currents with a full scale up to 120A. Negative effects like saturation and hysteresis are commonly known from core-based sensor techniques are not present in the Infineon open loop, coreless sensor principle. The smart current rail design (double U-shape) combined with differential signal sensing makes the current sensor robust against stray fields.
