LTC9111 Industrial SPoE PD Controllers

Analog Devices Inc. LTC9111 Industrial Single-Pair Power over Ethernet (SPoE) Powered Device (PD) Controllers are IEEE 802.3cg compliant devices integrated with 3.5V standby regulators. These controllers operate at a wide input voltage ranging from 2.3V to 60V and support the Serial Communication Classification Protocol (SCCP). This SCCP-based classification ensures full operating voltage is applied by the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) only when a valid PD is connected. The LTC9111 controllers drive two external N-channel MOSFET switches during classification with the micropower operation to minimize reservoir capacitor requirements. These LTC9111 controllers are ideally used in building automation, factory automation, security systems, and traffic control systems.
