IoT Challenges Solved with Edge Devices

Analog Devices Inc. IoT Challenges Solved with Edge Devices addresses the challenges in Edge IoT sensor applications by enabling sensing at 1V and saves more than 40% of battery life. This solution allows designers to maximize application battery life while maintaining a high level of sensor accuracy. Two options are available to achieve this. First, keeping the sensor on to reduce the baseline sensor drift and enable a more accurate sensor reading, or second, putting the system into shutdown mode to save power. In both cases, the system will consume more power either by keeping the sensor on or during sensor startup.

Power Management ICs

Analog Devices Inc. Power Management ICs (PMICs) power innovation with precision and efficiency. With unmatched power densities, ultra-low noise technology, and superior reliability, Analog Devices’ PMIC portfolio supports complex power architectures in the most demanding applications, including industrial, automotive, and aerospace. Electronics engineers and designers are supported with power management evaluation boards and design tools, such as LTspice®, to ease development and optimize performance. From Silent Switcher® regulators and µModule® power solutions to advanced battery management, LDOs, and digital power control, ADI delivers high-efficiency, low-noise, and compact solutions that ensure reliability and scalability.

MAX17220 - MAX17225 DC-DC Converters

Analog Devices MAX17220 - MAX17225 DC-DC Converters are ultra-low quiescent current boost (step-up) DC-DC converters with a 225mA/0.5A/1A peak inductor current limit and True Shutdown™. True Shutdown disconnects the output from the input with no forward or reverses current. The output voltage is selectable using a single standard 1% resistor.
