MT Fiber Ferrules

Amphenol Aerospace MT Fiber Ferrules provide high fiber density in a relatively small cylindrical connector package while retaining the advantages of MIL-DTL-38999 III connectors. Three levels of alignment offer a precise fiber-to-fiber interface, while shell-to-shell with keying allows for alternate positions. Amphenol Aerospace MT Fiber Ferrules are offered in 12- or 24-fiber versions, in multi-mode PC, single-mode PC, and single-mode APC configurations. Two arrangements are available: shell size 11 with one ferrule and shell size 21 with four ferrules. The MTC-HD fiber ferrules provide an additional six insert arrangements and up to 48F or even 72F ferrules. This configuration design means, at 25Gbps per channel in the largest shell size, throughput support of up to 10.8Tbps.
