3M Connectors 2500 / D2500 Four-Wall Box Headers feature a low-profile, space-saving design that measures 0.100" x 0.100". These connectors are available in surface-mount and through-hole versions. The through-hole version is suitable for reflow soldering using "paste-in-hole" techniques. Exposed solder tails (on right-angle versions) offer ease of cleaning and reduced repair costs. 3M Connectors 2500 / D2500 Four-Wall Box Headers provide a center-slot polarization to reduce insertion time and prevent incorrect insertions.

Y2500 Series Four-Wall Headers

3M Y2500 Series Four-Wall Headers are 0.100" x 0.100" wire-to-board connectors with a low-profile design that allows space savings with gold flash plating. These connectors are designed for wire-to-board applications with low mating and less demanding environmental conditions. The four-wall headers include a center slot polarization that helps to prevent mis-insertions and minimize insertion time. The four-wall headers consist of a high-temperature insulator that allows the header to be used for no lead soldering operations. These headers feature an optional retainer clip that locks sockets in place for reliable performance in vibration-prone environments.
